soda cards

Does anyone know the cost of a soda card for a seven day cruise on carnival-and is it unlimited?

First of all welcome to Cruisemates. If you have other questions, there are many here, who would love to help.

The last I heard, the soda card was running around 51 dollars for a seven day.

We have always found it to be worth it's while, and yes it is unlimited.

depends on if you are getting a childs card or adult! If its a child I think its less. around 40 dollars.

Also, be aware that the card is only good for fountain sodas, not cans

It is 6 dollars a day for adult and yes it is only for fountain drinks usually. Occasionally you will be served a glass of ice and a can drink though.

Try to wait until the ship leaves the dock and is out in the ocean- you will not have to pay tax.

The soda card is also good for juices normally at the bar (cranberry, pineapple, etc) on some ships they do give you cans of soda- unfortunately they give pop one open and pour it into a glass full of ice, so you are not really getting a full can. No big deal since you can have as many as you want... but keep this in mind if you will be getting the other half of the can. May be not as bubbly...
When you buy soda without the card- they give you the whole can.
