Need help with seeing Atlantis/beach without excursion
Will be in Nassau in April. I would like to visit Atlantis and understand they have a day rate and you can take a taxi and use their beach. Does anyone know about this? Cost? Also what beach does the "beach excursion" by Carnival take you to? Can anyone recommend a beach that a taxi can take you to? :D

You can go there and do the short tour, its actually pretty neat and worth the cost. You can most likely find out the exact cost at their web-site, I don't think you have to book through the cruiseline. You can have access to the beach, just not the pools/slides unless you are a hotel visitor. You can take the water taxi or a reguler taxi, its not far from the pier.

We just got back from the PRIDE. Atlantis changed some of the rules. For the day with everything its around $56 ea. Some things are now free. You need to check out the site, because I did not pay attention when they said what it was.I think its the ocean side for swimming and some other things... We were only in the casino. and did very well.

You must buy "The Dig" tours at the hotel. They can not be purchased prior.

Just got off the Pride today, and my wife and I did the "Aquaventure" excursion. I don't remember the price, but you get full access to the resorts beaches, water park, casino, and aquariums.

Was a ton of fun.
