Default Headed to the Caribbean in July

Hey everyone!

My family and I are headed to the Caribbean on a Carnival cruise and were going to be in port at St. Croix for about 2-3 days. We have a hike scheduled with a zipline at the end for our kids! were so excited! I've never been to the Caribbean myself, but friends have told me that we might want to invest in a mosquito netting for our faces in the walk. My friend was telling me there are an extreme amount of bugs in the St. Croix area in perticular. Does anyone have any insight to weather or not this is true? I linked to some netting I found at the top of the post, but I just want to make sure it's necesarry before I go and buy a whole bunch. Thanks everyone!

I have never heard of anyone zipping, using netting...you are flying down so fast, you maybe faster than the bugs...If I were a kid,and my Mom said, put this on, I would not want to at all This is the tropics in July, but honestly I have never seen it or heard of anyone using it...

Barb,

What cruise is this? Does the ship stay in St. Croix or is that a pre or post cruise stop? We would like to see St. Croix so we are really interested in this.

Thanks, Thom
