Just booked Fantasy for July 2011!

Wanted to get an opinion on the room we booked, the agent said it's "port side". The room is E-90.

I'm so excited! Can't wait!

We will be on the Fantasy in Oct to Bermuda.

Also, I read on these boards that you can go somewhere to see what rooms are booked, I tried carnival .com but didn't see that option. I'd appreciate any help thanks!

I think that E90 should be a great stateroom for that cruise. It is close to the middle of the ship and well away from the elevators. Both of those should be positive characteristics for comfort and quiet. It is also on Empress deck, which is our personal favorite for the Fantasy Class ships of Carnival.

Thanks Gazelle2! I am beyond excited & have been reading all I can about this ship. Looking forward to researching what there is to do in the ports too.

Key West is for barhopping on Duval St.....
(the southernmost point at the end of Duval, Hemingway's House and Truman's White House were nice also.)

Lots of great stuff to do in Nassau if you venture beyond the shopping right near the pier.
1)Dolphins and Sea Lion enounters at the gorgeous Blue Lagoon.
2)Daypasses at Cable Beach hotels
3)Daypass at the British Colonial Hilton, right next to the pier
4)Adastra Gardens and Zoo
5)Frommer's Walking tour. (all within a few blocks of the pier)
(the Queen's Staircase, Fort Fincastle, Parliament, Governor's mansion, etc.)

Alot of people go to Atlantis resort. Probably our least favorite day in Nassau.
(pretty much like any fake Vegas resort we've been too)

Just google any of the words in bold to see for yourself and get details and photos.

Loved the Fantasy...all three times we have been on it! Not a lot of walking and still just big enough. You have picked a great deck/area for your room. That is the floor you will embark onto...makes it easy to get off too.

Bill, thanks so much! I am hoping to find a nice fishing excursion in Nassau, Freeport or Key West for my hubby. While some of our traveling companions are drinkers, my hubby is now & I know he'd love a nice opportunity to go fishing. Will google your suggestions, thanks again!

[carnival fantasy April 23]

Hello - - I'm cruising on the Carnival Fantasy to bermuda on a 6 day from Charleston. We are departing on April 23, 2011. If possible, I would like to see if anyone has scanned Carnival " Fun Times " aka past " Carnival Capers " of details for the cruise. I'm packing and just wanted to get a glance of the activites. Please feel free to post them or provide a link. Thanks again and happy cruising to everyone.

But be aware, that the activites change from cruise to cruise (except the main shows and comedian times usually) at the whim of the CD and entertainment staff.

We did a Fascination cruise in mid September to HMC and then the same exact cruise less than 2 months later and every trivia game, 2 minutes to Win It, etc... had all changed.

It mostly depends on how active or lazy the CD and his staff are about changing things up.
