Question for Magic Cruisers

We are booked on the Magic 10-7 for 9 day cruise. After I carefully studied the ship I booked a balcony on the starbound side. Weeks later I realized as the ship sails around the Med. the land( and beautiful scenery)is mostly on the port side. Rookie mistake! As I am tickled to be on the ship, it's not a hugh problem, but I wondered if there are areas that the land is on the right side?

This is a twofer. It is one trip off my bucket list and it is our 35th anniversary present. Can' wait!!

We made a rookie mistake....sitting on the wrong side of the deck as we sailed from Venice. Some of the beautiful places had already gone by, & we were so fascinated by what we were looking at, we didn't realize the other side had more of a crowd. I wish they had announced the better side to view, as they did as we sailed by the volcano at night.

I think the starboard side is perhaps more interesting. That sailing doesn't go to Venice, but when you pass Stromboli after Messsina, you probably will want to be on the port side when passing the volcano.

Thank you both for the replies. We didn't do the 12 d. cruise to Venice. We were there in '01. We have not been to any cities on the Mediterranean. Actually, Spain is the only new country we will visit. I have waited all my life to see the Sistine Chapel! I know I will not be disappointed.

Zydecocruiser-- I have enjoyed your Magic webcam page. I look at it often to see where she is.
