I'm fairly certain Carnival will be fine in the long run as long as they take of business mechanically speaking. Most sane people understand stuff breaks and although terrible luck for them, I'm sure they're learning a valuable lesson...
It may take some time, but I am betting Carnival will bounce back. They just need to win some customer confidence back....The new Destiny does look nice, that should help.
If they can crash a ship and kill a bunch of people, and basically escape unscathed, then they can do pretty much anything they want and turn a profit...
