Ports

Shouldn't all ports come up on the excursion list when you are selecting for your cruise? Our home port Seattle is not coming up on the list.

Thanks for the help

While you didn't mention it, I'm assuming you're talking about your Sept cruise to Alaska. Carnival does have some excursions for Seattle - if they're not shown, then go to the Carnival website, click on Plan & Book Your Cruise, then click on Shore Excursions. Under Port of Call, bring up Seattle and you'll see what's available.

I would also suggest you look at independent companies, such as Shore Trips.

Those are the steps I followed but Seattle is not showing; If you go to excursions without cruise, you see seattle, Just curious why it wasn't showing

Sometimes while you are on your cruise, they will let you know about post-cruise excursions that will normally end at the airport, provided you have a later flight and have enough time to do one....

This is pre-cruise. wanted to book an excursion but Seattle won't come up

Donna July 1st, 2013 07:01 PM

You may just be able to book something yourselves since the cruiseline doesn't list any pre-cruise excursions. I would also ask your travel agent and see if there is anything available...Is this tour for the day of the cruise??

I agree with Donna - check with your agent and they should be able to help you.

Because there is so many variables involved in 'pre-cruise' excursions, in situations like this, it's not unusual that the cruise line doesn't offer them. This is why it would be better to utilize an independent company or to do your own thing. Depending on when you're getting into Seattle and how much time you have, you may find it better to pick out the places you want to visit and just take a taxi or do the Hop On Hop Off bus, which we really like.

Thanks for all the replies. I talked to Carnival and they said it was a technical issue on their side and it would be fixed within 24 - 48 hours.
