Frank Black has posted on cruise@ddicts, that sky suite 6128 on Millennium does not have a whirlpool bath. It is stated in the brochure that sky suites have a whirlpool bath. I have emailed Celebrity, but have not received a response. If this is true, I wonder how much of a refund I should demand once I get onboard.
It seems Celebrity has really messed up on their brochure in regards to the Sky Suites. Keep me posted as to what you plan on doing. I'm still waiting for a suite change. I'm glad it was brought to my attention in regards to Suite 9111 & 9117 not having a balcony. I definitly won't accept eather one of these for a Suite change.
You are already planning to request refunds once on board?????
I think frankly you have the wrong attitude! You want a whirlpool, ya got the biggest one upstairs ...the hydrospa .... You might spend your time planning for your itinerary, not trying to figure out how to get refunds....cause frankly with that attitude, you are bound to find problems with everything....
Sher, Who are you to tell me how to handle my affairs. For your info my itinerary is already planned. I am sailing 4/8/01, and I have booked my flight, my hotel room, and even arranged for a pet sitter. You see, this will be my 5th cruise, and I know exectly what I am doing. Why would I let a cruiseline, or any company for that matter get away with false advertisement? The fact is the the Celebrity's brochure, and their website states that sky suites come whith a whirpool bath.
Why should I settle for anything less, without receiving something in return?
So, when you decide to pay for my next cruise let me know, and maybe I'll let you have a little input on how to handle it. But I doubt it.

I just got off the phone with Sergio in the Celebrity reservations dept. He says and I quote "All sky suites on Millennium have whirlpool baths except 9111 and 9117".
I guess I will have to wait and see, since I am getting conflicting stories. If they don't this sure gives me more ammo, when I request a credit.
Well I would never presume to tell you your affairs Wayne....I just suggest that you try to work this issue out prior to your trip so you can enjoy your trip and not waste your travel dollars fighting with a Purser who has little ablility to make monetary changes....
But we have all cruised enough to know that there is a percentage of the clientele who look for problems, even create them....that stress isn't something I want as part of my vacation!
I'll be iin a Sky Suite on our Millenium cruise in February. Have to admit that the only water I will see other than the shower will be in the heavenly thalassotherapy pool in the AquaSpa. It has whirlpool baths beat all the way.
