We booked a couple of shore excursions through the Celebrity web-site. When we got our cruise docs, they showed the shore excursions, but one of them was wrong. It had the same booking number as what I had originally purchased, and I had received an e-mail from Celebrity showing that we purchased a dolphin encounter, but the cruise docs say we've puchased a SNUBA trip. I've sent an e-mail to Celebrity (and the shore excursion desk), but have not heard back.
I know it won't be an issue and we can get our money back once on board, but we really wanted to do the dolphin encounter, and I don't see any other options on their web-site.
You should be able to straighten it out. The dolphins are popular but they try hard to get everyone who wants it signed up. Our friends got it at the last minute altho" on a waiting list. Signing up at the excursion desk wasn't very efficient either on our Mercury cruise. They did not offer the trip we wanted, were not very helpful & then after we committed to our second choice they announced the other one...no one at the desk was really "on the ball". But in the end it works out & no matter what we did it was FUN!
