Default FLL return flight question

Is 12:15 too early for a return flight leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale??

Hi Buddy,
If the cruise ends in Ft. Lauderale as well, I'd say you shouldn't have any problems making that flight. The ship pier is very close, but I'd take a cab, much faster than waiting for the bus to fill and take you over. I'd also make sure to let the cruiseline know you have a fairly early flight, but you should be fine.

You should be fine. You can walk from the pier to the airport, were it not for your luggage (and the heat!). Take Donna's advice and spend the $10 or so for a cab. It's worth it and faster than waiting for the buses to fill up.

I made a 12:15 flight from FLL and we docked in Miami-plus our transport never showed up and after wasting an hour and a half got a taxi to the airport. We still had plenty of time -we were the first few off the ship however as my mom is handicapped and they knew we had an early flight.

Have made earlier flights in FLL without problem. But definitely do as suggested. Take a cab to the airport.

I have made an 11:20AM flight with no problem......just fill out your paperwork to let them know you have an early flight and take a cab.....very fast & fairly cheap!

Our flight out of FLL is @ 10:30. I don't feel worried...should I be? What's this paperwork about? Do you have to fill it out at the beginning of the trip?

10:30 is a bit tight.... the "paperwork" really is your taking your air tickets to the Information Desk, early in the cruise (NOT the day of embarkation, thank you), and asking for an early embarkation number. Otherwise, you'll really have a tough time with a 10:30 departure.
