If the cruise ends in Ft. Lauderale as well, I'd say you shouldn't have any problems making that flight. The ship pier is very close, but I'd take a cab, much faster than waiting for the bus to fill and take you over. I'd also make sure to let the cruiseline know you have a fairly early flight, but you should be fine.
You should be fine. You can walk from the pier to the airport, were it not for your luggage (and the heat!). Take Donna's advice and spend the $10 or so for a cab. It's worth it and faster than waiting for the buses to fill up.
I made a 12:15 flight from FLL and we docked in Miami-plus our transport never showed up and after wasting an hour and a half got a taxi to the airport. We still had plenty of time -we were the first few off the ship however as my mom is handicapped and they knew we had an early flight.
Just flew back from Ft Laurdale,if its on a sunday with in next couple of weeks good luck, get there early ,very busy this time of the year for many reasons spring break, vacations ,etc just take it in stride have nice vacation
10:30 is a bit tight.... the "paperwork" really is your taking your air tickets to the Information Desk, early in the cruise (NOT the day of embarkation, thank you), and asking for an early embarkation number. Otherwise, you'll really have a tough time with a 10:30 departure.
