We noticed that there are few messages re the Summit. The summer before last summer we took the Millie for a 12 day cruise in Europe. Since we are headed out on the Summit in November, we were wondering whether anyone can compare the two ships and their amenities. There will be four of us, 2 adults and 2 teens. Thanks for any help!
I have not been on the Millie so as to compare but I just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Summit. You have nothing to worry about, I to had not heard very much about it. However when I boarded I was very very pleased. It is a new ship ,clean, and very beautiful. Relax, and have a great time. Do check out the Normandie room.
Whilst browsing the messages I noticed that you are on the 18 Nov as we are, and we will keep an eye open for you to compare notes on Kristine's opinion of the Summit. I really enjoyed her review on her whole journey, but if one is a really good sailor life aboard might always be that way, whereas having read some other reviews there appears to be a certain amount of rock and roll on Summit. Perhaps others who have been recently can confirm if this is so. We are on the Penthouse Deck. I am a dreadful sailor and will have to depend on motion tabs in any case, but I'll get an extra supply in if there is likely to be any real difficulty. Any other tips, Kristine ?
