Default There's one thing stopping me from booking!

I'm thinking of booking the Infinity in January but the cabin category is Sect. 7 (which is Continental I believe)..the first ocean view category on board. I've seen where this deck is in relation to others and I was a bit dismayed because I've always been higher in the past. I"m concerned that being that low and so close to the water..that might lead to seasickness or more movement...am I worrying for naught?

It is the exact opposite. Low and amidships is the most stable point on the ship.

Of course lower is more stable.

Try this simple Mr. Wizard experiment:

Put the point of a pencil on your desk and tip the pencil back and forth to simulate the motion of the ship. What part of the pencil moves the further distance, the eraser end up in the air or the area near the point on the desk?

Simple when you think about it, isn't it?

Now go book your cruise.

We have sailed twice on Explorer and had deck 3 and 2 respectively--no problems. We are sailing on Summit -deck 3 next month and do not anticipate any problems.
Mr. Wizard is right.
