Hello fellow cruisers! My mom and I are taking this cruise to help celebrate my big 50! The husbands didn't want to go (strange men!). They don't love cruising the way we do. Any other mothers and daughters out there traveling together without husbands?

Well the hubby is accompanying me and my son, along with my mother in law and her hubby..but that doesnt mean the girls wont sneak away for a martini or karaoke from time to time! We cant wait, it is actually within the realm of getting close at this point! Have you ever parked at the Cape Liperty port? Just wondered how congested it gets there. Maybe we can meet on board for a glass of wine with the girls!

Patty: Thanks for your response. Sounds like a nice group you are traveling with. You are not going to believe this, but I met a friend-for-life on my Celebrity cruise last May on the Summit. And guess what? Her name was Patty. Maybe this is a sign! To answer your question about parking, I have no clue. We live in the Arlington, Virginia area right outside DC so we will be flying into Newark airport. This is my first time sailing out of this port. I booked this cruise just this week as it was a last minute idea. I love cruising and it is really what I wanted most to do for my birthday. So, how can we plan to meet?
