Constellation - Condition of Ship - Future Booking

Your expertise would be appreciated.

I am considering a Panama next February 2010.

Is the Constellation in good shape?

Will she be drydocked between now and Feb 2010?

I can't answer about the drydock schedule, but we were on Constellation for a 10 night cruise that sailed on 3/27.

The ship was in great shape as far as we could see. Nothing at all jumped out at us as needing attention. The only major area we can't comment on is the main dining room, as we never ate t here once during the entire voyage.

If you do go, and an entertainer named Perry Grant is still on board, be sure to catch his act in Michael's Club.

The constellation is in fact due for a make over..unfortuanely it will be after you cruise Connie is scheduled to head into dry-dock around the end of March (28ish) and be back all new looking beginning with the April 11, 2010 run!

Sailed the Connie April 09 on a TA from Ft Lauderdale to Harwich, UK. She was in wonderful shape. The Ocean Liners restaurant is not to be missed.

Connie is not going into drydock on March 28 next year. According to Celebrity's web site she starts a 14 day Eastbound Panama canal cruise on that date.

At this point they do not have a drydock scheduled.
