I am the paralegal for the District Attorney in a small county in Northern California. When I am not working, I am taking care of my menagerie, 3 horses, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 geese, 2 runner ducks and a bunny. Oh yeah, and dear husband.
Hi Everyone! When I am not cruising, I am constantly planning a cruise or travel of some kind. And yes Pamda, you DO give parties, and great ones! My employement for $$ is quite boring...I work in the quality assurance department of a large pharmaceutical company. You think a cruise ticket has a lot of red tape lingo, just imagine what the FDA can dream up! Merman is the entrepreneur of two businesses, having to do with meat, dirt and rocks.
When we are not dealing with drugs (my job), meat, dirt, and rocks, you can usually find us on our property at the lake, busily preparing for our retirement home in the woods.
I am a retired hairdresser of 26 years. I am also in my junior year in college for my psychology degree, I realized I sent all of my children to college, why couldn't I go. We are going on our first cruise Oct 13 for our anniversary. We live in a small town in Georgia.

Wow, Pam... deja vu all over again! I got my start in computers by working for Tandy right around the same time they introduced their Model I... but I held out getting a 'puter of my very own till the Model III came along. Later, I considered making a lamp out of it, but my ex chucked it before I had a chance to do so. What a conversation piece that woulda been!
I work for a broadcast group (radio). Sales and marketing. for 18 years. Someone once told me that most people that worked in radio were about half
crazy....hummm....maybe that's why I fit it so well with radio people..lol.
WOW... what an interesting and diverse group of folks!
I own a small "antique" hotel (built in 1912) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada which fortunately has a BIG bar in it. It's a fun an interesting place to divert my attention between cruises.
I hosted cruise chats for AOL for about 4 years, and got very lucky about 2 years ago, when Anne and Paul were starting CruiseMates and somehow decided that I could be a cruise writer. It's worked out GREAT.. and I truly enjoy my participation at CruiseMates, and I love "meeting " fellow cruisers.. both online and onboard!
In between "bartending", and cruising I manage to fit in just enough time to drive Mrs. Kuki to the brink.
I am an office manager/secretary in a research office here in Tampa. Which means I do everything and get paid to surf the web looking for research grants, etc. I just recently (like Wednesday) became an Independent Travel Agent.
This December will be my first cruise since May 1991 and I am sooo excited reading everything I can find. Thanks to everyone for wonderful posts!! Such a wonderful group of people. I feel so at "home" here. Keep those posts coming!!
I'm an office manager for a church. I love my job. I was inspired by Cruiseaholic (you didn't know that did ya John?) to do something else with my life to have cruise $$ that didn't have to come out of the household budget. So I decided to become an independent consultant with PartyLite (a candle and gift company). This is only my second month doing this but I absolutely love it! I have already saved enough money to cover 1/2 of our next cruise. Woohoo, looks like I'll be able to take more than 1 cruise a year!!
I am a Business Systems Analyst for a large video manufacturing company. With 18 facilities spread from Florida to Seattle, I travel extensively on business and when not doing that I am traveling to get to my next cruise. In my spare time I host Wednesday nite early chat. Hope to see you all there at one time or another. Welcome aboard, good to see all these new faces.
