Re: Cute little logos? I want one!
Do a google search for free gifs, there are many sites that offer them. Find the ones you like and save them to your hard drive (right click then save picture as). You then need to upload them to a host site. Many folks will create their own gallery hear at CM. Once uploaded you need to right click again on the gif. from the gallery and copy the url address, and copy it. I then create a word doc that I call "My gifs". On a clean line in the doc if type [img] then you past the url address (no spaces between [ and address). Then I type [/img] to close. The line above this I will say what the gif is "Denise Feather Pen" or some such thing that describes the gif. Be sure to save the document. I can then go to this document and highlight from the first and copy it then past it in your post. To put it in your signature you open your profile for editing and past it in your signature block. Hope that is understandable.!
Let's start out simple using gifs located here on CruiseMates.. u can check the gif library, or some of the photo galleries where folks store gifs. For starters.. just to test it out, and follow along if you want use pic in my signature.
Move your cursor to the gif, and right click... in the small window that opens, at the bottom you'll see properties. right click that as well.
When the "properties" window opens you'll see the url (http:/ etc) of where the file is located. Highlight the entire url, and right click again.
When the new window opens click on Copy.
Then go to the message you want to post in, or to your profile, if you want to use it as a permanent signature.
Right click. When the window opens, click on paste. You should then have accomplished pasting the complete url of the gif on the previously blank page.
Then.. in front of the url type in [ img ] but with NO SPACES. At the end of the url type in
[ / img ], but with no spaces.
Then click post, and the image should be in your message.
What do you like? What do you collect. Me? rabbits. The red devil was a fluke.
I used to go to high school in Las Vegas, and we were the Sun Devils....so I really liked this one when I saw it.
Let me know. Email me and I will see what I can find.
