Dear CruiseMates Gang,
It seems Princess has dropped the price of the cabins on our deck for our sailing date. I have seen this w/ at least 3 of the ta's on cruisemates and many web sites. Is it too much to ask our ta to try to get this better price? We have gotten a small price reduction already, (was like pulling teeth). because I called her. But this is $200 less for 2 cabins. This is a big FL cruise agency w/ all the residency perks, blocks of cabins ect... We have not made final payment yet, cruise is 3 months away. She has not returned my e-mail. (avoiding me?) Should I just be content, transfer to new agent or be persistant? This is our first cruise. Am I making too much of this? Thanks for your help as always. Cookie
IF it was the cruise line that lowered the price, absolutely you should get the price reduction!
If you've just seen other agents advertising lower prices, that doesn't necessarily mean the cruise line price was lowered. Then you have a decision to make... whether to cancel and rebook with the lower priced agent.
