Booked for the in laws today!

I am so excited! We were booked on the 3/15 sailing of Grandeur and my travel agent emailed on Friday that the prices dropped so we booked a cabin for my in-laws! We did our first cruise a year ago on the Inspiration out of New Orleans. We fell so in love with cruising I had to book another! My hubby's parents have been so wonderful to us by taking our kids while we worked that we wanted them to share in this experience with the kids. Never thought this would ever be possible! We were so excited to drop over at their house and say,"Guess what, we booked a cabin for you with us!" Anyway, just had to talk about this because I am still so excited

That is SO sweet! With all the bashing in-laws take, it's nice to let them know you appreciate them so much. And what a wonderful present for someone who watches your children, to get to go on vacation with them and have a blast instead of just being the babbysitting rule enforcers.

GREAT new Nanni.. What a nice thing to do!! Sure the entire family will have a ball.

I bought my mother in law a new chair, but she won't let plug it in. ( JUST KIDDING.. couldn't resist)

My mother-in-law is more my friend than relative (don't get me wrong, we do disagree). We were very fortunate because my in-laws live only about a couple of miles from us and were always there for us. Our 2 kids are very close with their grandparents. I just can't believe we were able to swing it! We do spend about 26 hours in the car to get there, but if we had to fly, we would never be able do it. So we have a bit of a Land Cruise before our Cruise Cruise

Graet news Nan. Would love to be able to do a cruise for my In Laws. You are so considerate. Am looking at a land cruise for them and the entire family for next summer at the beach. took them to Ocean City MD last summer. Bob
