An 18 Year Cruise

Ok, cruise addicts, here is something for you to aim for.

Rosemary Roberts cruised for 18 consecutive years with the former Royal Viking Line. Her family was about to dump her in a nursing home so she went away to sea, taking 285 consecutive voyages (including world cruises). When the ship went into drydock, Royal Viking moved her to another ship. As she said, "it's cheaper than a nursing home." When her family wanted to see her, they looked her up in a brochure. She voted and banked by mail.

Rosemary eventaually went nuts and was forcefully removed from a ship at age 89.
The next year, Royal Viking Line declared bankrupcy.

True story!
