Default Movie Trivia --- Famous Last Words

Who can identify this '70s film by the last words spoken? It starred one of America's male heartthrobs, and it's one of my all-time favorites.

"Hey, Turner! How do you know they'll print it?

"They'll print it!"

"How do you know?

This should be a piece of cake for a real movie buff. I've even given the name of the main character!

Does anyone else have any movie "famous last words" for us?

Kim

You're right on the money, Mike. The last line ("How do you know?"), directed at Redford;s character, was spoken by another well-known actor . Do you remember who that was?

As for the "fat old man" line, the speaker was "The Duke" and the movie (another of my favorites) was "True Grit". What a great film!

Here's a couple of more, one really easy and the other perhaps not so memorable.

1. "Roads? Where we're going we dont need roads!" Hint: This became sort of a cult film.

2. "Maybe I'd better stay with you guys a little bit longer." Hint: Hollywood tough guy.

If you want more, as Jimmy Durante (who?) would say, "I got a million of 'em!"

Right again, Mike. I assume that you took Betty to a different movie when you two started going together.<S>

Yes, Thomas & Robin, that was Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown) in the final scene of BTTF.

Another easy one: "Looking good, Billy Ray!" "Feeling good, Louis!" No hints here...it's too easy.

Good work, CMs. The one you didn't get (Maybe I'd better stay with you guys...) was spoken by Nick Nolte in the closing scene of Three Fugitives as he watches the hapless Martin Short taken hostage by a bank robber. A truly funny movie, with Short & Nolte outdoing themselves all the way!
