Hello Cruisemates, As you know I work with people with developmental disabilities. One remarkable young man I know is very ill. He is 24 his name is Nicholas and he has cerebral palsy. Last weekend he started to have seizures and it would not stop. He was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He has been there all week. I called for word on his condition this morning. His lungs are 80% damaged, he is on 100% oxygen and heavily sedated to keep him immobile so his lungs can begin to heal on their own. Every time he moves his vitals go way down. His loving family and friends have been at the hospital 24 hours a day for him, send prayers he and they need them very much.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Nicholas and his family are in my thoughts. I wish them much strength through this difficult time, and the hopes and prayers that Nicholas will improve. He is way too young to have to go through this..........

Praying for Nicholas too. How fortunate for him to have you in his life too. I know how much it means for my brother, who also has Cerebral Palsy, when people remember him and care enough to see how he is doing.
He is in the Lord's hands. Many prayers going to him and his family. I must also say that it fills my heart with JOY to know that this many people are praying in this day and age when so many people are against it!
I pray for the Lord to heal this young man, if it is His will. I pray for the strength and comfort that only Jesus can provide for both him and his family. If you or the family do not know Jesus, find him and you will find life. Praise you Lord. Thank you Lord.
