Default Is it Taboo to use "Meet on Board"

I do see people asking for a roll call but same people are not posted on "Meet on Board"

Ben:
Many people don't know about the Meet on Board function of Cruisemates. Even though the Cruisemates main site receives about six times as many visitors as the message boards it seems that people use the message boards more to find out who is on their cruise.

If you would like to put your name on Meet on Board: Just go to the Cruisemates Homepage at http://www.cruisemates.com and click on Interactive Features and Meet on Board.

Or you can do the same thing by clicking on Interactive Features on the red bar at the top of this page.

Take care,
Mike

I have tried posting on "Meet on Board" and never got a response. I also post on "Chit Chat" and on the specific Cruise Line board looking for sailing mates, and I have been able to meet people that way. I don't think too many people know about the "Meet on Board" site, but I keep trying.

I've found one other person for my upcoming New Years cruise on the Diamond. This is the first time I've seen anyone else, since I posted. It really makes you wonder since the ship is almost totally booked and the final payment is due this month.

I had better luck going to the Mexico board and finding someone who is going to share a private tour with us!

Hi Donna,
The "meet on board" is different from these message boards, you won't get responses. You need to just go in and check and see if more people put their cruise in there, it will list all that are going at the same time as you and on the same ship.

So, check it once a week or so.
