Good morning kids. I guess everyone was smarter than me and slept in this morning. It doesn't seem to matter what time I go to bed, I still get up around 6 a.m. on weekends. Must be a sign of me getting older. I think Gary, the girls and I may be off to a huge craft show at one of our fairgrounds this afternoon. I'm not big on craft shows, but now that the girls have their own homes, they like to go. It is okay with me watching someone else spend money! I don't feel the need to have that stuff any more. Gosh, I must be getting old. You all have a great day...and try to do something fun today.....or at least relax a bit.

I was posting but it just disappeared into cyber space. I need to get the new computer hooked to the internet - this one is dying a slow painful death.
It is frosty out there this morning - but it looks like it will be as beautiful as yesterday was.
We ususally have had a snowstorm before now. I'm glad for the prolonged fall weather, which has been far nicer than our summer was.
Not much on tap today. Church. Then home and I think the puppy and I will take a long walk in the woods in back of my house. Then we plann on BBQing. Will settle in, watch the Patriots and hope their winning streak continues. Hope to amount to something useful for a couple hours before I sit on the edge of my seat and try not to have a nervous breakdown while I watch the Sox. My ticker will be all worn out by the end of the series. Wouldn't trade a minute of it though.
Good Sunday morn,
Hope you all are well,& happy this nice fall day.
My plans for this week is get ready for our cruise on Nov 6. Yeepee!!
All the payments are over, the shore excrusions on order, ship board extras confirmed, now we can relax. Only have to pack a few last minute items and do some laundry.
My son flew in from Texas last night and fixed this computer. It now runs super fast and has some nice new anti virus software. He is such a computer wizard, I'm so amazed at how things can change so fast on the web, etc. The key board even feels like new, some what like when you get your car all shiney and clean, it seems to drive better. lol
Every one have a great week, maybe I'll see you on the chats.
I'm singing sailing songs today...
Carole
Good morning everyone.
It has been a long and sleepless night for us. Kramer has developed another bad infection in his hip implant. Friday and yesterday he was pretty lethargic and early yesterday I noticed a mass on the inside of his right thigh. Right away we knew what that meant. I called my daughter and then gave him an antibiotic shot and some pain killer but by 9:00 PM he was not doing well. He had an increased fever and pain so the doctor (daughter) made a visit, with the full array of equipment and medications.
Kramer is now sleeping and more comfortable. Tomorrow he will be going to the University of Minnesota. No more treatments. We aren't messing around any more. The whole implant is coming out. There goes my kidney to pay for this one.<VBG> Gee: I wonder how many people are saying: "What the heck is he spending that kind of money on a dog for?" Believe me I would have said the same thing nine years ago. Let's just say we have a "history" and I owe it to him.
BTW: Divorce proceedings will be starting next week. Betty is blaming me because I took him to South Dakota. If we had a dog house, you know who would be in it. Luckily my daughter is backing me up. Yeah, that does a lot of good. :-)
Otherwise, things are going great.
I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Take care,
Mike

Good Morning All, Beautiful day in SE Florida. What a difference a day makes, especially with cruise Docs in hand! <<<<<<BG>>>>>>>>> Mike so sorry to hear about Kramer, prayers going out to the pooch. Jen, be careful walking in the woods, ticks can be a danger to you. Everyone have agreat day.
Good morning from Long Island. Not a pretty day like yesterday here, just gray and dreary. Maybe the sun will shine thru later in the day. Sure hope so, days like this are depressing, they remind me too much of winter.
Mike hope Kramer does well. I can fully understand your loyalty to the dog. We've done much the same thing here with our animals. They become part of the family and you just gotta do what you gotta do.
Good Morning Everyone..Very Foggy and Dreary here in wc Ark..Have'nt seen the sun shine in over a week now..Not much on tap for today..Church, rest, and watch the NASCAR race and then some football.
ML..Try to have fun at the crafts fair.
VTjen..have a nice walk and overnight some of that BBQ to me..
Sea..glad you got your computer running good and enjoy your son.

Jeanne..glad you got the docs in hand..I am looking for mine NOW..got the doc traps set all around the mailbox
Tweets..good to see you posting this morning and hope your day gets prettier..
To all that follow and the one that is posting while I am typing..Have a good day and please stay safe.
Good Sunday morning from the Arizona desert. You're not going to believe this, I know, but I'M COLD! ! As I sit here this morning the Weather Bug says 57 degrees, and I didn't get my robe from the bedroom when I got up. I don't want to go back and disturb Jose, who's still sleeping. Last week I still had the air conditioner on, and now I'm cold!
Mary Lou, have fun at the Craft Fair.
Jen, I'll be right there with you, watching the game tonight.
Carole, glad your computer is running so well, and sharing your excitement at cruising soon!
Mike, I think all of us who are owned by our pets understand completely you devotion to Kramer.
Jeanne, happy doc dancing!
Tweety, I can't even imagine going more than a day or so without sunshine! Try to recreate a tropical atmosphere - you know, put on the isalnd tunes and have a frozen thingie or two!
BigJohn, isn't a day like oyu have planned for today what it's all about when you're working and stressing all week long?
I guess I better get out a suitcase and start throwing some stuff in there, because I leave on November 4 to meet up with the rest of the Chicks, and time has a way of disappearing like magic before you know it!
Morning all from Montreal, where the sun is shining, but the trees are bare in our backyard now. All those beautiful leaves are now piled in about 20 huge bags by the back door, awaiting garbage day. Poor James did alot of raking and blowing yesterday!
The room re-arrangement yesterday turned into more than moving furniture. I helped my son sort through 16 years worth of toys, clothes, books, stuffies, Lego, and assorted school work, then we cleaned everything, and today we might get around to actually moving the furniture!
Mike, I fully understand your devotion to Kramer. I have done much the same for Emma, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Please give him a hug from me and wish him the best. Don't blame yourself for the trip to Minnesota being responsible for this problem. Think of how much fun he had going hunting with you!
Another gray day here in WI too. At least it's not raining, and I may just get out and take that walk the doctor ordered. The colder it gets, the more I want to be in Florida. :-)
Mike, I'm so sorry to hear about Kramer. I know he is a very special dog, and I'm hoping and praying the vets can help him out and keep him going for a long time to come. I'm with RD---it's good to think of him out there hunting with you and having the time of his life. Try not to feel bad about that.
It's nice to hear from all of the rest of you too, and to picture you all enjoying your Sunday with family or whatever you are doing. Have a blessed Sunday.
Sue, hope you are doing ok too. Don't think I've seen a post from you in a few days.
Good Morning cruisemates! COLD is the word of the day for Calgary. No more snow today, but temps below the freezing mark. This feels like January, not Oct
Think I'll just spend the day SOMA watching football, and then baseball. That should widen it<G>
Lousy news about Kramer, Mike!!! Hope he comes through this OK.
4 weeks from now, at this time I'll be getting ready to board the ship...to enjoy a CruiseMates Thanksgiving!
And a late good morning from Southern California where it's chilly, but it will be a nice day. I woke up about 3:30 a.m. feeling diabetes shaky, so I had a glass of orange juice, and boy, the house was cold with the furnace asleep. Winter is definitely here!
Mike, I'm really sorry to hear about Kramer, and I hope the vet can make him well. Keith and I both have done the same things for our animals, and always will. A big doggy hug for Kramer from us.
Not much on tap here, either: some Sunday paper reading and then out to lunch. I still hope to get in some shopping.
Good morning from a grey Vancouver. Yesterday when we were driving back from shoe fitting we hit an area that had hailed!! It was really deep(well-kind of deep!!lol) and cars were slow moving on the road and freeway(that is a good thing in this instance!) and then a little further off the freeway there was just rain! It was weird!!, but cool!
More cleaning today and get to decorating for Hallowe'en. The youngest is having a few friends over Fri.after school for a little party/playtime.
Lisa-hope your back recovers from the strain.
Dezertcruzer:you are cold?? lol I can not believe it!
Judy-I have to admit when we came to Disneyland a few years ago in Dec. it was a bit chilly!
Take care everyone. Bye for now. Brenda in Vancouver

VALOR Jan/05-our first family cruise was great!
Good morning all. I'm here in Calgary, too, and I guess I don't find it to be as cold as Kuki. It's about the freezing mark here, but it's not snowing so travel on the roads will be better today. So, I'm heading out to the stables to ride my horse.
I'm pretty new to this site and haven't usually posted on your daily threads, but I've been reading them for a while and decided to jump in today. Hi all, I'm Tammie from Calgary and I'm going on my first cruise in December.
Mike and Kramer are the inspiration for this post today - I'll be keeping a prayer and a positive thought in my heart for Kramer. Good luck. I know what it is to have a deep connection to an animal. One of my horses, Nick, has been with me for more than 20 years, and he as literally and figuratively saved my life more than once. We will all (me and my 4 legged family) be pulling for Kramer.
To all of you, have a good Sunday.
Tammie

Welcome, Tammie!
It is a beautiful day here in Avon Park, Fl. I actually drove home from church with the top down on the convertible. I feel like a movie star when I drive home like that with my rock 'n roll music playing!
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing right now, and lunch is ready so must get off.
Everybody have a great day!!! Lynne
