...my mom was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, which hit me like a ton of bricks when I got the news.
The good news is she is feeling just fine....good appetite, is pretty alert, and looking forward to the holidays. We have not told her since she is elderly and suffers from confusion, the information would do her no good. I have power of atty over her medical decisions, so we will spare her the sadness of knowing.
If everyone wouldn' t mind a little prayer for my mom to make her time left a good one, I would appreciate it! I'm glad my sister & I took her on a cruise a few years ago, her first one, and she had a wonderful time! It's memories like that that are important...it was my husband's idea for us to take her, and I love him even more for that....
We have a lot to be thankful for, among which are my faceless friends here who always show such support and caring...thank you....

My thoughts and prayers are on the way to you and Mom. I am so sorry to hear of this terrible news.

Boy, do I ever know what you're going through. My mom is suffering through the final stages of lung cancer, and unfortunately she is all too aware of everything happening to her. My prayers go out to you and your mom....
