Just wanted to wish you and yours a Happy, Healthy and safe new year. We'll probably go out for an early dinner and then sip our champagne till we poop out in front of the TV, hopefully staying awake to see the ball drop! We have about 12 people coming on New Years day for a lasagna dinner. Ellis likes to cook! Lucky Me!! Talk to you all in the new year.
Marsha and I would like to extend all of our best wishes to all of YOU for a very Happy and Healthy New Year also. We are leaving tommorro for my mom's and on New Years day taking a day trip down to Tunica and see if we can hit the "big one">< That would be a good way to start the new year out right, and if not, we will just have a nice lunch and enjoy ourselves. See in the new year Family.
Please stay safe.
A lasagna dinner sounds delish! Jeanne, you are, indeed, lucky. We pretty much ignore New Year's Eve.
This year, I am grateful that my DH can curl up with me by the fireplace, the telly, and a good book. I'll cook a late breakfast New YEars Day that we don't usually have: eggs, sausages, potatoes with onions, peppers, and whatever else I can find to put in 'em.
Keith usually gets up in time to watch the Rose Parade. I don't!
The two of us wish our CruiseMates the most wonderful new year possible filled with cruises for all of us!
Wishing all of you a very happy and healthy New Year. We are having company tomorrow,,,then going to a wedding reception for my cousin Sat Jan 1st. They got married today so they could get that tax deduction for this year,,<VBG>
But I will be watching the Rose Bowl Sat nite every chance I get. GO BLUE !!! Sorry Merm,,,,just had to do that,,,<VBG>
Best of everything for 2005 for all of you. I hope it's a better year for all those who had medical & family issues. 2004 was indeed a very hard year world wide as Kuki said.
Happy Cruising next year!
It is 3:15 here in MI. I just got home from a Welcome Home party for my cousins' son who is a Marine, on leave, home from Afganistan. Then he goes back to N.C. for 6 mths of training before heading off to Iraq for a year. Kinda hard to celebrate, not knowing what the future holds for him. But I gave him a gift of supplies and let him know that we all appreciate what he and the rest of the men are doing for our freedom!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!
Have great day everybody, and look forward to a wonderful NEW Year. I will be celebrating with my residents at work tonight, as I have been for the last 5 years. No better place to be!
Tomorrow promises to be peaceful here, like on Christmas Day. Trevor and I will both enjoy that very much. There is an outside chance that we'll go over to my mother's in Englewood, FL just over 100 miles from here, but it depends on how today and tonight end up.
Bye for now. Lynne
