The lovely Mrs. Jones and I took many nice vacations years ago when we didn't have any money, but wanted to go on a trip. Yes, you have to sit through a sales pitch, but you must keep your wallet in your pocket. Yep, they put the pressure on, but once again, just keep the pocket book closed, and enjoy the trip. Just be sure to read all the "fine print" and you'll probably have a great time.
If it is like a 90 minute presentation sale pitch....I can sit there and say NO for 90 mins.,,no problem mon...as long as they come thru with what they promised. I have done this on a couple of occasions and the last one we went to. Was not a timeshare but a vacation club and we bought into it. Some of the best money I have ever spent. In fact 6 out of the 10 couples that were there bought..Sooo you never know when you might run into a deal you cant beat. We even got a free Cruise out of it..incld all taxes and port charges.

Sounds like Ramada Plaza Resorts - and believe me, by the time you pay the port charges (and you don't get Carnival, you get the Imperial Majesty), taxes, fees, airfare, etc - you will pay way more than the cruise itself is worth if you would have bought it straight out.

i live in orlando and receive the same crap, never did it wouldn't have to go to far to get to the time share location, just don't have the time, i file it under g, all u have to do is drive to universal, or disney and hang out at the resorts, take a break eat in the establishments back out to the pool and then home for the day
OK here is help on how to get out of a high-pressure time-share presentation.
The object of the salesperson is to find out why you say NO you donít want it.
Then they override your objections and try to close the sale.
Here is the trick to ANY high-pressure salesperson situation.
Tell them you donít want it and when they ask you why. Donít give them a reason.
You can say for example. I donít know why I donít want it. Or I canít put my finger on it right now. Or It just doesnít feel good. Most important after you give one of these answers STOP TALKING. Donít say a word it might get very quiet in the room for a long timeÖ. but say NOTHING! ďThe first person that talks looses.Ē If you, the customer (I know I am one) gives the salesperson something to work with heís got you.
The secret is not to tell the salesperson why you donít want it so he canít overcome your objections. You will be out of there in no time.
