Default Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Hi Kids,
Well, the weather angels, worked overtime, and I got home, with just minor turbulence, no biggy. The woman I sat next to, was the Mother of a woman I went to high school with. We knew many of the same people, and lived in several of the same towns...we chatted all the way home..small world huh?

When I packed my ONE check through bag, I knew I was in trouble....so my friend gave me a nylon duffle, and I put some stuff [3 new handbags to name a few things] I thought I was safe...At the airport, the 1st checkthrough, was still overweight..[oy]
Ar, no remarks please

Boston has a new terminal for Delta, it is humongus!!! To go through security I was selected for additional procedures...This terminal has the newest safety measure of , what I called, the puff box....A shot of air is shot at you, almost like the glaucoma eye test. It's surprising when this happens, then you wait 15 seconds inside, and the door opens..They also went through my carryon, and handbag, found a tiny pr. of scisors, I forgot, and also opened my wallet and looked inside. This I thought was overkill.

So I am back to reality, but I do expect to soon get the 90 degree weather I left in Florida...I better!!!!

Glad you made it home with no catastrophes. It always makes the trip seem shorter when you find someone to talk to on the plane.

I had lots of fun shopping, and eating lunch with you in Delray Beach. Can't wait til you can make a return trip.

Take it easy and rest up now.

Phyll

Three new handbags? Am I jealous! Last time I went to Phoenx, I took my SIL on what I called the handbag tour ( Neiman Marcus, Macy's, and Dillard's, I think). My DH has also been on a similar tour at home in CA. I did find the designer bag of my dreams, though, in Phoenix. After I returned home, I bought it at Neiman-Marcus. I LOVE handbags!

Welcome Home Trip!!! I am glad you had a great trip. Sounds like you shopped till you dropped. Thanx for the heads up about the new Delta terminal. We are flying Delta in September.

Can anyone really ever have enough shoes or handbags. Accessories are the spice of life.
