I do this as outside sales for a local travel agency. I can only sell cruises or package tours.

Hi Denise,

I would be very, very careful of any cruise job offered on a website. It is probably a scam. If you are interested in a job as a cruise specialist, you should go to a dependable local travel agent and ask about this kind of job.

For those of you of you don't "know" Denise, I do (from these boards). She's a wonderful person with a HUGE heart who LOVES cruising! Her posts may not be perfect, but she is! She's always willing to help people with cruise questions. I'm very proud to call her my friend!

Hope I didn't embarrass you, Denise,

Hi Denise,
I love your sense of humor!!! With your love of cruising, you probably could find many of them for others on one of the 1000 lakes!
However, it is a funny thing to find in a Minneapolis paper. It's kind of the same sort of thing as when my husband was in the Navy and stationed in INLAND Memphis, Tennessee! (He eventually served on 2 aircraft carriers in the open Atlantic!).

Take care, dear heart. I wonder who would post an ad like that?!!. Have a great day!
Lynne

I took it as an agency looking for an agent to sell cruise packages or tour packages. It is exactly what I do as outside sales here in NH. Lots of agencies have Cruise Only departments and hire "Cruise Specialists"
