Coca Cola Needs to Get Their Facts Straight

I saw the latest Coca Cola commercial, you know, with the comp-gen polar bears. It appears the penguins, thousands of them, are having a party at the North Pole, complete with fizzy.

Hey Coke! There are no penguins at the North Pole. In case you want to spin it a bit, it won't work. There are no Polar Bears at the South Pole (where penguins live). I guess the Edmonton Zoo had a massive penguin escape huh?

But then, polar bears and penguins don't drink Coke, either. At least I think they don't.

Oh CC, I hate to spoil the fun for you, but most of the commercials are not real. Horses, don't drop snow on each other, and they don't play football. You are so good at complaining, ever thought of a job with a cruise line?

Don't let them pick on you CC. Shoot them with your little gun. I think you're on to something here. Who say's they can't drink coke. Kinda like does a tree make noise when it falls and you're not there?

Maybe horses can play football? My daughter rides english and I've seen them do some pretty amazing things at times. lol

I ain't pickin' on CC (cool cat )...I am just gigging him a little. Besides, that gun he has, is sooo full of cake, it would go pewtttt if he pulled the trigger.

CC: I saw the same ad at the movies the other night. I was with a friend and I said to him. "You know what one polar bear said to the other polar bear? Nothing washes down a penguin like a Coke."

Those ads are quite innovative and you have to use the old vaudville term "just accept the premise and enjoy the bit."

Son and I had the same discussion a few days ago. But it is cute. Tho' maybe confusing for kids who are not sure of their facts. I think they call this poetic liscense.

Like the commercial with the living Neanderthals at the fancy restaurant goes:

"Try doing a little research".

You'd think Coca Cola, with their gazillions of dollars, could get a simple fact straight. If it wasn't Coca Cola, maybe a little slack WOULD BE in order.....
