Default This Proves It.............!

Payback is a ----- Did you hear, or read this today?

A man found a mouse in his house. He caught it, and took it outside and tossed it on a burning pile he had in his yard. The mouse caught fire, & ran back into the mans house. The house caught fire and was a total loss!!

Who's sorry now?

I saw that in the paper today, Trip, and my first thought was "How could anyone throw a living creature into a fire like that?" Well, that mouse paid the jerk back big time!! My hope now is that the little critter somehow survived and is thumbing its nose at the homeowner as I write!

I don't see anything wrong with what the man did it was only a mouse. How many of you eat meat what they do in the slaughter houses is cruel but you still eat meat. If someone gets really sick from a meat related disease do you say he got what he deserved.

Also Jack, have you never set a mouse trap?

I hate mouse traps: The darn things kill the critters and then they set there and begin to rot and smell. I prefer D-Con. It contains an anti-coagulant and they basically bleed to death from the inside and there is much less odor from decomposition.

I am so bad.

The rest of the story. The mouse appeared dead. He then threw it in the burning leaves and the mouse "revived" and ran into the house. He didn't do a sadistic torture on it. It is a rather humorous but tragic story that was on two of our local radio stations.

Intentional torture is not something I advocate but I won't fault the guy for cremation of mouse, even if it did go horribly wrong.

Take care,
Mike

This is an Alannis Morissette "ironic" type of event.

Later news accounts indicate that this story is false. However the poor guy who lost his house and is uninsured, says the laugh he got from the rumor makes him laugh. He attributes the story to misinterpretation of his account of the fire and that the mouse was dead from a trap before he tossed it in the fire.

Doug-you ruined the amusement of the story!
When I heard it I had to laugh I admit, but then I felt sorry for the old(81) guy!
What a bizarre story-too bad it is not true?!! Sad the old guy's house is totalled with no house insurance!
