Had a great week in Colorado. RJ went skiing twice and i did some sightseeing with my in-laws. First visit west, The vistas are amazing. The Rockies are beautiful. Having never been to Colorado before i was very surprised that the landscape is praire-flat and then boom, there are the Rockies. Love, LisaK
Lisa, welcome home, a week off is sure a good thing at this time of the year. I remember when we visited Kuki, in the Canadian Rockies,my jaw dropped.
Coming from the east, mountains like these, are only things we have seen in books! Did you find yourself, having breathing problems in the higher elevations?

Trip,
we got in late Saturday night, just in time for all the yuckiness of the storm, we got sleet, freezing rain and snow. It was 60 degrees and sunny everyday in Colorado.
The thinner air really didn't bother me too much, i did notice that i was working a bit harder on my walks, going up a small hill and huffing and puffing a bit at the top. The air is very, very dry so my sinus were very, very happy.
Welcome back from your Rocky Mountain High. I remember the first time I visited Colorado. I couldn't believe that it was flat. It seemed to take forever to get to those mountains in the distance. Once you got there it was well worth the wait.
Take care and nice to have you back spreading your knowlege.
Mike
