Good morning all. Bon Voyage Dman.
Two kids better, 2 still sick, now Papa and Gram have their colds. Back surgery went well for Son in law yesterday but he might not be home for another day. It's cold and clear outside today. I have a meeting in NYC early today so I'm off to catch Metro North.
Have a great day everyone.
Papa

Good Morning All,

It is a postcard pretty Vermont morning today. It snowed most of the night so everything is clean and fresh. Son is excited as the extra snow will be nice for his race today. Because of the lack of snow my son's classic cross country ski race got moved into our neck of the woods. It will be held at our local ski resort, which is still half an hour away.
This is the state meet. Next week will be the state meet for skate skiing.

Not much else going on. Still not feeling well. Hope we are back to 100 percent soon

Mornin' everybody,

Looks like I'm going to have a busy day today. I've got sticky notes all over telling me about things that went wrong after I went home yesterday. Ahh, the life of a maintenance worker. When it rains, it pours.

Well, it's time to go to work.

Have a great day!

Morning All,

Back to 100% health wise - but way behind on the packing - 2 more sleeps till we leave for the Zuiderdam. Gonna come sooner then I think! Picked up American $ yesterday - not too bad only about 15 cents on the $.

Extremely busy at work - meetings and filing for the next 2 days.

Took Nick to the dentist yesterday for fillings - he was awesome - so much better than I am in the dentist chair.

Have a good day all - hope you feel better papabill and gram - and Angela Z - I hope you are doing what you want.

Default Wednesday Morning

An early good morning from Southern California. Only 4:24 a.m. here. I couldn't sleep because of leg cramps. Anyone else out there get those? The only thing that works is to get up and walk.

Today is gym day for Keith. I plan to have lunch at our neighborhood Mexican restaurant with an old friend. Last night we used our Christmas gift certificate and had dinner at the Outback Steak House.

I'm going to give sleep another try. Have a good day, CM's.

Judy

Good morning mates, looks like another nice day here in swfl..The fence guy is coming today to tell me how much it would cost to put a vinyl white fence around our property. I am sure it's more than a cruise. With the school behind our house finished by July and having all these little kids there, I need something. Come to think off, the city should pay for my fence

Judy I get those cramps too plus I have restless leg. It's sucks and you are right only getting up helps. Maybe extra potassium would help I don't know.

Middle daughter got suspended again, this time for just 1 day She agreed to see soemone again and I got a phone number so we will get the ball rolling on that. I am certainly at the end with all of that. I am just gla dthe other one doesn't act up too or I would be out of here for sure..
I booked our Ardastra Tour yesterday through the ship. I am not too keen doing this on my own without my dh by my side. Also resererved the alternative restaurant which I did not do last time I cruised on the Wonder. Talked to my girlfriend and she seems pretty excited about the whole new cruise experience.

Have a good day mates

Morning All; I'm up, but I think I'm going back to bed. This cold I have been fighting has turned into more than a cold, and it may be time I see a doctor.
I have booked another day off, and maybe even the rest of the week. I am so exhausted from coughing.....
Anyways, hope you all have a healthier day than me!

RD.........better go to doctors today and get a chest x ray..........

The day looks grey, but cruise cam shows very bright weather where we are going................

Late home last night fom meeting, today I need blood work, I need to give Nan the injection, I have alot of files and papers to read, which I will do, which I have to get through..........Which I dont want to do..........

DS has placed suitcases in bedrooms, we have a habit that as we wash things we want to take we put them in a pile, so it starts now in ernest........I cannot wait to go.............it looks so nice in Florida today on web cam..........

Dog is feeling much better. Very little bleeding now from the surgery to resect tumor. She looks happier and is eating, of course, she gets special because she cannot chew hard food, so some scarmbled eggs, soft carrots, a little vanilla pudding..........

My Uncle in Holland speach is a little better today, the eye site in one eye is a problem. It is a ait and see. They are regulating blood thinners now. My aunt has trouble coping with things like this. This is when we wish we were closer by, although email helps alot and lower phone rates.

Well, Every one have a good day, I am out the door now.........

Good morning everyone:

Dman: You lucky guy. Have a great time on the cruise.
Papa: I hope the rest of kids are better very soon. I hate it when the kids are sick. It just rips your heart out. That and the fact you know you're going to get it. If it was a trade it I would have no problem but it always gets you AFTER they are all better for about a week.

Today is a VERY busy day. I am cooking and cleaning Garbage Scow Gallactica. I am making gumbo for my annual fishing trip to the Great White North and vacuuming Kramer hair out of the Suburban. There isn't that much hair in the car but I hate doing that. Too much bending. Maybe coercion will work on Betty.

Well, I have to get to work and take a walk around the boards and then really get to work. I hope everyone has a great day.

Take care,
Mike

Good morning. It's chilly in Detroit. I'm still in the process of writing up my cruise on Destiny last week. I want to go back. hahahaha

Dman - Have a great time. I'm jealous and I just got back.

G'day mates from a thoroughly sloppy, rainy, foggy, miserable driving day in Alabama.. Current temp at 57F and that should be the high.
Arrived in the office today and found three of my assistants out with strep throat, bronchitis, and intestinal flu... gotta love the winter.
Cheers to those cruising soon and best wishes for recovery for those battling sickness.

Regards,
Ben

Good Morning cruisemates! Well, winter finally had to arrive in Calgary. Large wet snowflakes are gathering outside my window, which means my drive in to work will probably be at least twice as long as normal.

Have some unfortunate staffing issues to deal with at work. Problem is people to work are almost impossible to find these days in our economy. There are actually restaurants not opening some days because staff don't show up for work.

So.. my question becomes.. what do I do with dishonest staff, when I have no one around to replace them, and still keep my doors open?

Good morning cruisemates! 60 and foggy in Houston/Galveston. Angela, what is up? Resigning after 21 years!! Kuki, I don't want your job. I see all of the scum of the world passing through my door at work everyday. Yech! They come in either angry, drunk, high, combative, crying, sick, or all of the aforementioned. Sometimes I have to put my hands on them. D have a great trip.

Hey everybody, thanks for the Bon Voyage. I am so looking forward to this cruise. I am going to have a great time. Like they say, a bad day at sea is better than a good day at work . But then again, I've never had a bad day at sea .

DMan-Bon Voyage and I look forward to your review.
Smithy-Bon Voyage!!!
Judy-My Mum used to get terrible leg cramps. I occasionally get them after a few days of not drinking enough milk!
Kuki-Hey,I am looking for a new job;too bad I do not live in Calgary!lol
Eldest has a band concert tonight. No work until next Wed.=yahoo!
Hope everyone who is sick feels better soon. Take care. Bye for now. Brenda

Well Kuki, that is a really tough one, we had this in our condo office, and in the end, while painful because we felt sorry for the person, we had to let them go for the good of all. It was very hard, no staff, people quitting, it was a real strain, but now we have a new manager and finally things are slowly back on track........so, I would have to be with, confronting them.......giving a warning.........and then biting the bullet and letting them go even though it usually means the ones letting them go just got a huge work load increase.........feel for ya, that is for sure.......Hope it goes OK..... 8)
