Default Dog Rules ( Can be applied for cats as well)

Given Dougs post this AM, I thought this would be a good time to submit this.

The dog is not alloud in the house.
Okay the dog is alloud in the house, but only in certain rooms.

The dog is alloud in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.

The can get on the old furniture only.

Fine, the dog is alloud on all the furniture, but is not alloud to sleep with the humans in bed.

Ok, the dog is alloud on the bed, but only by invatation.

The dog can sleep on the bed when ever he wants but not under the covers.

The dog can sp under the covers by invatation only.

The dogs can sleep under the covers every night.

Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the dog.

I remember when I bought my Maltese puppy 11 years ago.
He cried and barked every night for a month when I put him to bed. I could not get him to stop.
Finally out of desperation I put him in the bed with us.
To this day 11 years later he has not cried and barked again.
And yes he is still in our bed !

Regards,
Ben

Default Dog rules

Well let's just say cat rules here. Missy is very happy these frigid nights with the heating pad on her bed that she shares with us.
