Default Cooking fish

I bought some halibut last night. I've never really eaten a lot of fish, but I want to start. I've certainly never cooked fish. Anyone have some good recipes for halibut? Thanks.

here is a general fish recipe that can't go wrong. Place fish in foil add lots of fresh garlic, butter and lemon juice with some slices of lemon layed on top. also good with some cajun seasoning. remember to salt and pepper the fish first. close foil and throw it on the grill it will melt in your mouth!

You can also season and broil it in the oven.

BAKED HALIBUT

1 lb. halibut fillet
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
Paprika
1 c. white wine
1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. to 1 cup chopped onions
Fine bread crumbs, enough to cover

Soak fish in wine and salt solution, marinate 1 hour or overnight. Place in baking dish after draining. Add onions to mayonnaise, sour cream mixture and spread over fish. Sprinkle crumbs over fish then sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees or until fish tests done by flaking.
