Default Classic Cars

Hey Doug, I know you are a classic car fan and I am as well. I had 10 of them at one time but have disposed of all but one. My current one is a '55 Ford F350 with 42,000 ORIGINAL miles on it. I bought it from a farmer in Tipton, Missouri. I need to paint it and do the interior. I had all the running gear rebuilt to make it highway drivable.

What is everybody else's favorite classic car? Mine is the '37 Plymouth 4 door sedan. Runner up is a '57 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe. I had one of each at one time.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

Most impressive collection of antique cars I have seen is at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.

They had several late 1920's Duesenburgs + + +.

My personal favorite has allways been the 1957 Chevy.

My favorite is a '57 Ford.

Last weekend I had the awesome opportunity to visit with a couple who own 18 antique collectible cars. Their collections included 5 Rolls Royces (early 1900s -- I'm awful at remembering details), a 57 Ford that the Mrs. had special ordered new, a Sunbird... I wish I could remember more! I remember being extremely overwhelmed! They employ a gentleman to come to their home once a week and his job is to make sure each car is driven once a month. O.K. Boys, wipe the drool!

My favorite is probably a 63 corvette stingray w/ split back window. Talking about a car collection. Here in Washington, the Lemay collection is unbelievable, Once the museum is complete, the cars will be able to be viewed all the time, but in the mean time they are are available to be viewed basically only yearly at the open house.Check out these couple of sites.

My favorite is probably the '66 A/C Cobra. Great car. I've owned most of those mentioned ie: ' 57 Chevy,' 57 Ford conv, Corvettes from '58 through '94, '40 Ford Coupe, and so on. I used to restore Chevy Corvairs, and Ford Mustangs, but don't have a sample of either anymore! I just love all cars.

Marine, Pilot, Singer, Tuba Player, Carnival "Diamond"!

Default Favorite Classic Cars

Two favorites:

The '55 Ford Thunderbird, and the '57 Ford Retractable Hardtop (or was it the '58)?
