Default Have a Drink On Me!

Whats your favorite foo foo drink on board?

I have fallen hard for the foo foo martini's. Before that, anything that was red yellow or blue, was on my list Wine is Beringers, white zin.

How about you? Anything brand new we should all try?

Jungle Juice. The recipe is a secret though so all I can say is you have to have some good dark rum for starters.

Well, this is not a cruise drink, but we used to make it many moons ago when on a camping trip. Take one large cooking pot. (This is a camping trip, we didn't have fancy jugs! ) Add 2 cans of frozen pink lemonade. Add 2 litres of Club Soda, and about 1 cup of Gin. Stir. Pour into large glasses, sit around the campfire, and enjoy! (We called it "The Recipe"!

Donna,

Sounds like your "recipe" is off a little. 2 cans of lemonade and 2 liters of soda with only 8 oz's of gin make some week lemonade. I think you need more a 50/50 ratio with the soda and gin.

Just my thoughts....

Dave, you're probably right, it was probably more like a 1/2 bottle of gin!

Luanne--

As somebody two whom a martini is still gin and vermouth and olives, I'm sitting here trying to figure out how you make a banana daiquiri "dirty." Liquified banana peels?

I don't normally drink. In fact I don't think I have had a drink since we cruised last July, but on the ship, I love to taste them all. I don't always enjoy asking for them. I refused to ask the guy for Sex on the beach, which is a real drink. I figured just my luck this was his first day, and he figured that he liked all the fringe benefits.

s** on the beach are really good. sugar daddys are good too. my sis and i discovered that drink one night when her hubby was mixing drinks for us to try out and say yeah or nay too. needless to say my sis and i had a heck of a hangover the next day for church. i think it was that last drink he served that was flaming literally. i believe my sis posted a pic of their bar on the thread "anybody like to party on the cruise".

I just don't know.....I don't drink at all!

NOT!

On our first cruise with 14 close friends, the ladies discovered a great way to try all of the drinks! Find a big round table and take a seat. Each person orders 2-3 of the "pretty" drinks. Each person takes a straw (that they keep!), take a sip of one drink, keep your straw and pass the drink to the next person. Grab the next drink and keep it going. We did quite well with this plan...for about 2-3 hours. Everyone was fine...until we stood up!

The boat started rocking and swaying...we barely made it to our cabins! We had a little nap and then we were good!

I get a year to pratice for 3CCCs and I have the bar for it. This picture is old and doesn't include the new bottles. We have more bottle on top of the bar. My hubby does make good drinks and we have two drink guides and a electronic bar guide. It is simlar to a videogame, but shaped like a flask you put the booze you want and it lists all different drinks with that booze. My drink tonite is Rum and Coke. For the last cruise they did a martini tasting 5 different kinds. I liked the lemon drop. We had a blast at dinner after that tasting.

I don't have a picture of our bar, but I can describe it. It is under the kitchen sink, next to the 409, and Mr.Clean.

But why? How nice to be drunk and clean at the same time. Isn't that called multitasking?
