Remember When?
I was looking at some old sail and sign cards, and, remember the days of innocence, when the cabin number was imprinted on it? The earliest I can find is my 96 Soverign cruise..cabin 8592! By 99, cabin number on this line was removed.

RCI use to give all passengers, a list with names and states..Maybe addresses too, but I mised out as the computer was broken on my 1st cruise, and then, they stopped the practice:(

How times have changed:(

I have a picture of a Princess Ship and it looks totally different from any of them today. The picture was from '99.

Apparently Princess has only recently stopped printing the cabin numbers on the cards. They appear on the cards from both our Princess cruises in 2005, but do not appear on our latest Princess cruise cards from this past April.

Our cards from Princess 2 in 2005 and 1 in 2006 (March) the cabin number was on the card and our cruise last Dec on MSC had the cabin number on it.

NCL last week no cabin number.

Remember When?
The cabins nos. were on both our Rotterdam (02 HAL) and Diamond
(05 Princess) cruises, but not on the cards for the Liberty (07 Carnival) cruise.

I can remember when you could board a ship as a vistor only.
