It is reported that an Australian firm that trains Santas has advised them not to use the traditional "Ho, Ho, Ho!" becuase it might be offensive to women.

Doug: we were just discussing that at our local deli this afternoon.... where does it end.... it is ridiculous "HoHoHo" is perhaps one of the oldest and most known holiday sayings and of course "HoHoHO" is also one of the oldest and most known professions.
Yet, kids can post anything they want on myspace and look at anything they want on myspace and other websites; watch horrendous cable TV but some downunder nut is worried about HOHOHO. Give me a break!

Ah yes, who would have thought three little words would have meant so much……..
For some, yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum, is the be-all and end-all of life.
For other’s, Ho, Ho, Ho signifies the Christmas Season, whatever that means these days.
For most of us, Ho, Ho, Ho, means the beginning of the Retailing Season. Spend your meager dollars – as the economy depends on you. 40 % of business’s yearly income comes during the Retailing Season.
In fact, start your spending early! Labor Day Weekend is an excellent time to start your Retailing Season spending. Christmas has lost whatever meaning it may have had, so start early!
Some people worry about Pagan rituals. Who cares – especially with these bargains!
It’s all about shopping! Start early, spend lots! Who cares!
“I’ve got all my shopping done by September! Good for you! It’s all about bargains!
The Retailing Season is in high gear—don’t be left behind! The economy depends on you, after all!!
