Morning All, from Montreal, where the rain has cooled it off considerably.
It's only 18C this morning, 64F which is a big drop from the past few days.
Supposed to go up again for the weekend though, so we'll be sweating again!
Not much new here, just counting down the work days till the weekend.
There are so few kids at daycare, it's been quite pleasant, and most days I even get out a bit early. Love sitting at the train station in the hot sun instead of freezing in the dark like I do all winter!
Good Morning RD and all to follow,,,
Geezzz Where is everyone this a.m.??? Guess it's a good day to sleep in
Not much going on here on the coast of Va. been raining all night and part of the a.m. Although our temps are still in the 80's
I am babysitting again today,,,looks like it's gonna be all summer. My youngest grandson age 3 is here. But that's a good thing,,,as Martha sez,,
The only problem is we "work" from the home as well,,,so tends to get a little hectic at times. Thank goodness for "grandgrad" he helps alot.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday,,,,Like RD said,,it's almost Friday,,,hang in there gang
Good Morning, my internet is slow today, they are working on the lines, putting in DSL wires. Not fun to sit so long like I used to do before DSL. Spoiled is a good word for me today. H&H is the weather in Florida. Wishing you all a good day.
Good morning from still, rainy, Virginia Beach. Yes, travelnut, it did rain all night and I had to drive home from work in the pouring rain! I slept in this morning and then went to the tailor to have a pair of pants hemmed for my much anticipated cruise to New England and Canada; four weeks and counting!!!
Good Morning cruisemates! Slight cooling trend for Calgary, for a couple of days, though apparently there is warming coming for the weekend.
I spent most of yesterday running errands for my folks.... trying to make sure there's food in the house that both my father and mother will eat. And interviewing some care-givers to replace the one my mother forced us to let go.
She must not have been that good a person, because I gave her notice, and told her she was welcome to look for a new position, while still working the next two weeks, or more (until she found a job or we found someone).... but the next day she was a no show.
Last night I was back there at one point thinking my dad wouldn't make the night. But thankfully he did, and is feeling a bit better this morning.
Can only hope that continues some.
I fit in a haircut yesterday, and my barber has been kind enough to agree to go to his house and cut his hair. Nice that there are still so many good people in this world too.
Well after several days of the three H's today we have the three d's - damp, dark and dreary. I miss the heat already.
Did my early morning walk, then home, ready to work, work, Bible Study, helped friend by typing her resume and letter of interest. Then did my blood work, errands for church. Ate a quick snack. Now trying to determine what to make for dinner. I'd rather just take a nap.
Kuki - sending good thoughts to you and your parents. You are a blessing to them I am sure.
RD - enjoy your diminished numbers, soon they will be back in full force.
Judy - hope the weather cools so you can start your house hunt. You should video tape it and pretend you are on the HGTV show! I'd watch!
