Even in the best of circumstances I'm sure you're going to be without power for a good while and unable to communicate with us. Please though Michael, try and let us know that you're alright as soon as you can.
I know the feeling after the hurricane blows thru and those first looks around the outside, it is amazing that your house is still there. the flooding is trrible. My heart goes out to all who sustained the floods.
Bless you, Michael. I'm very glad you're safe. My sister is in Humble and we finally heard from her this morning. Like in your pictures, many trees are down and they still don't have power (but they have a generator), but luckily that's the extent of it for them -- others in their area weren't as lucky. My heart goes out to everybody affected by the hurricane.
