Here is a link to NASA TV on the web.

We watched from our front drive. It was spectacular! It lit up the night sky before we even saw it then watched as it jettisoned the rockets and then like a little star just kept going until it disappeared. What a thrill!!

We too watched it from our front yard. Not quite as bright as they usually are, because of the haze around the sky tonight, but we also could see the separation of the boosters. Night launches are ALWAYS super!

Thanks so much for the "heads up" as thanks to you I watched the launch. I find it fascinating that they actually have a camera on that huge attached fuel tank that detaches long after the boosters do and one can see it slowly fall away from the shuttle.

Just thinking that you are watching a launch from the vehicle itself as rises into the Heavens is mind boggling.

Sorry I missed the fun. Used to enjoy all the launches, unless I was working them.

We watched it "live " also looking into the sky. It was beautiful and it was nice to see it live! One of the benefits living in Florida
