A good and inexpensive Riesling is Weingut Reuscher Piesporter. I don't know what the Wine Spectator rating is on it but it's a good wine for appetizers, poultry and fish. It is on the sweeter side, but not overly sweet. A good choice for those who don't like dry wines.

This is funny. It's chianti all the time for me. Never varies. Chianti classico, reserve, Aziano, even Bolla is fine for table wine. I always like to have Chardonnay on hand for guests but I'll never touch it.
I'm also a Bud girl. Love the stuff. Good thing I'm working. Keeps me at 5 o'clock. My husband likes to have all the crazy beers around for guests. One that I am fond of is Peroni.
We often make our own from Wine Kitz and it is generally pretty good if you are patient enough to let it age. But honestly I have to admit I buy most of our table wine from Trader Joes. The have a really good Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet and at $36 a case, it's a steal. Three buck Chuck rocks!

On my last cruise, there was a wine at the wine tasting that was excellent and I actually ordered a couple of bottles at dinner the rest of the cruise: Murietta's Well Red Meritage 1996. A real good red wine with a mix of cab and merlot.
