Default Look at this idiot

I hope you people in the states have some govt dept in charge of health and safety at work.

Our OSH dept would come down like a ton of bricks on this guy if he hasn't already killed himself???

Liam, in a case like this OSHA would only come in if one of them got hurt.

They sure don't have many brains!

Tweety, he would have to be the one with his back to the camera. But he seems to like to work on his own!

Default Texas ingenuity

They are making repairs due to the hurricane. I'd cut them some slack. They may have lost their better ladders in the hurricane itself.

In Texas we'll find a way to get it done and not wait for the gov't to tell us.

If he had been caught in Quebec, his annual rates for CSST would have gone through the roof.

We can't ship anything over 30kg by mail because it would violate CSST. And you should see what they have to wear to deliver appliances.

That's actually not the point.

This is extremely dangerous behaviour and there is very good chance of death occurring let alone long term disabilities?

Half an hour later there was a scissor lift on site and he would have been better off using that.

I don't know but I have seen a lot more dangerous and stupid things. Actually, I may have done a couple. Don't ask Betty about the snake nest under the garage. Someday I will once again have eyebrows.

Take care,
Mike

In your opinion. I see two guys getting the job done.

Maybe not the safest, but he could have been determining the need for scissor lift or electrician or whatever. You captured a good shot, very good, but you have to understand not every one sees things the way YOU do.

That ladder isn't bowed. The camera has a fish-eye lens. Look at the curved railroad/streetcar tracks.

Regardless of how stupid one can get, if someone had fallen and killed or injured himself how many people would have been brought into the lawsuit--lets say the guy on top of the vehicle fell--there's the ladder maker--the car maker, probably the maker of the paint on the car ( made it too slick to keep a ladder from sliding ) --no signs on top of the vehicle warning you to not put a ladder on top and then stand on it-- no signs on the ladder warning you to not place the ladder atop a car and then stand on the ladder--the owner of whatever business where the two brains are working --any good looking woman or women that happened to be walking by , thereby causing a distraction to the worker, contributing to his fall, and the list gos on.
That's the American way, Lombard !!

Hey, that looks like one of my relatives!!! Or all of them!!!!!!!!!!!
You should see when we do a clam bake complete with the seaweed in the backyard. Roaring, and I mean roaring fire!! Someone always calls the fire department and ruins our good time.
