I am a 63 single woman and I would like to find a cruise mate but am skeptical and would really kind of like to get to know a person a bit before I share a cabin with them. Any advice.
My name is BettyAhlene and if you would like to write to me my email is bettyahlene@yahoo.com.
I really would love to get to know some people to share cruises with.
I just looked at your profile and see you are a fellow Texan!!! Although I now live in WA state I was born and raised in Texas. Wichita Falls but I actually claim San Antonio as my real home haha
I found my cruise companion on here. We met up via the boards and found ourselves on the same ship many years ago. We've been cruising together with friends ever since. Book a group cruise. Meet some people and get to know them. You already have one thing in common. Cruising. Take it from there.

I am very shy in person (not once I feel comfortable though) so it is kind of hard for me to meet people. That is why I thought I would try to meet someone online and get to know them first
Holland America will try to find you a cabin mate and you pay
normal rate, if they cannot find out someone the cabin is your
at the normal rate.
I knew that actually but I want to get to know the person I choose to travel with BEFORE I have to share a cabin with a perfect stranger.
Does that make sense?
Plus I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and very very allergic to any chemical scents ... like perfume, cologne, after shave etc so for me I think I could find someone but I could not take a chance on someone who wore perfume or smoked ... drinking I can tolerate but the other two are non-negotiable.
