Default Bermuda

If the airlines are cancelling flights and giving $$ back you know it's serious..
But if your on NCL you get first dibs at the ports in New England and Canada..and if you havent been it's delightful...

Default PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

At this point ALL ships have left Bermuda per their orders and obviously the cruise lines aren't going to endanger their ships.. It happened to us...and we ended up going to Bemuda North...loved it

We're hearing that "Bill" will be headed toward the Nova Scotia coastline also.
I sure hope it doesn't take out our new home before we even get to move in!

From the local and national forcasts ---it keeps changing, but not enough to stop becoming a pain for boat owners and homes on the water.. Good Luck

Reports on NCL's website said the Dawn left Bermuda 24 hours early to head back to NYC. They also say that they expect the departures back to Bermuda this weekend will go as planned. That's the latest....but we all know things can change.

Default Possibility

What happened to us is that we were taking the old NCL Sea from NY to Bermuda and as we got on the ship we were given a paper saying that the weather people at NCL had just made the decision that we would NOT go to Bermuda, but Bermuda North as we call it.. Newport, Boston (our home port), HALIFAX, ST. JOHN, ETC. Well, there was absolute chaos among some passengers with threats of suing, calling the media, etc.. girls crying because they did not have sweat shirts.. BUT remember if there is a storm Bermuda does not want the responsibility of ships coming in.. especially in St. George. Oh yes.. Bermuda north was wonderful and a complete delight.
