It's bright and sunny here in Pictou County NS this morning, but the temp is hovering at 0C. It is supposed to be a beautiful day today, in preparation for 10 cms of snow promised for tomorrow.
I am off to Aquafitness this morning, then hopefully to finish packing and/or decorating that last room. It never got done yesterday because I ended up making a 2 hr trip to the car dealership for snow tires, as hubby got yet another cast in the morning and wasn't feeling up to driving.
He has developed a strange blistering, skin-peeling affliction on the fingers of his cast hand. The doctors have never seen anything like it, but just in case, they removed the fibreglass cast and gave him a slightly looser plaster cast.
I'm treating the skin problem with fresh Aloe from my plant, and in less than 24 hrs we have seen improvement! Right now he looks a bit like a Mummy with 3 fingers wrapped in gauze bandages!
Well, I better get moving if I'm to get out of here this morning, have a good day everyone!
Good Morning where the day started early. DS's buss didnt come, and so I had to drive him to the school he is working at. That does not happen often, not at all in the last year or more. Things have been OK, just very busy caregiving. I have also done some needed shopping and picked up a few things for Christmas as well. Have a great day every one.

Good morning from sunny Florida where the temps today are in the mid 70's F. I plan on a 15 mile bike ride. Trying to get down to 185 lb. by the time we cruise in January so I don't have to buy a new tux.
Book me on your next cruise and enjoy your personal punching bag.
A good morning to all Cruisemates and a crisp and sunny one it is here in upper East Tennessee. Highs will be in the upper fifties to around sixty degrees (F).
Nothing on tap for the day save some puttering around and a meeting late this afternoon.
Here in the States we used to look forward to Thanksgiving after we got through Halloween and then toward Christmas right after Thanksgiving. For all practicable purposes, it's as if there is no Thanksgiving and the Christmas decorations are going up in stores in many areas as early as September.
But then again, Christmas or Hanukkah vacation doesn't exist anymore for most of our our students, either. Now, as often as not, it's "Winter Recess." Don't know about others but I find it all so very sad not to mention troubling.
