Default Sunday... enjoy the weekend while it lasts

Good Morning CruiseMates,
I figure most of you must be at Church, the golf course (Kuki) or still in bed since it seems no one is in here .

In a couple of hours we're going down to the ceramics shop to see our creations we made a week ago Saturday. They've since been glazed and fired in the kiln. I am anxious to see what they look like. If they came out well, I will post pictures, if not, then they likely won't see the light of day .

I have lots of work to do, but don't really feel like it at the moment. Sure wish I had an extra boost of energy. Oh well. I will get around to it...some day.

Hope you all have a great day. Take care folks and have a wonderful Sunday!

Good Morning cruisemates. Yet another beautiful morning in the Valley. (talking like a local ). Heading to temps of 75. Sitting in my office (the patio) drinking coffee, and waiting for the day to unfold.

No golf on tap for today. Mrs. Kuki has claimed dibs on the jalopy, which means she's planned a shopping day, with plans to purchase more than she can carry

We were out with Kuki Jrest yesterday, and in our travels came across a "Why Wait, Black Friday Prices Today Sale. Think I did great...buying a 40" Sony Bravia LCD HD TV for $597. Perfect for the newest condo.

There were only 2, so I called a friend who's bought a place here, but hasn't completed the set up yet, and he wanted one too, so I went back and bought the last for him.

Other friends (with one the universe's best shoppers) arrive today. She'll be shopping with Mrs. Kuki on Black Friday, while he and I golf

A beautiful day here in Ohio with the sun shinning. My plans for today are to get some of the outside Christmas decorations up then watch the last NASCAR race of 2009.
Yesterday was busy but got so much done I surprised myself. The motorhome is now at the shop for it's major overhaul. It will be so nice when we get it back in the spring. Our trip to the Verizon store was a good one. We now have new phones, nothing fancy just a phone you can call out on and receive on. I had gotten a special offer via the mail for a netbook and wanted to see if it was a true offer or just a come on. Well I am writting this post from my new Gateway netbook. The offer was real, I got it for $129.00 with a $100.00 rebate! I did have to purchase a 2 yr contract but I had planned on doing this anyway. I should never be anywhere without service now. This will be so handy when we are traveling and I can't get to a hot spot...the hot spot is always with me.
Hope everyone has a great day. Prayers continue for all those in need.

Default Sunday .. Enjoy the Weekend While It Lasts

Good morning, everybody! Get up! Get up! It's a mite chilly here but will warm up.

I had a good time wishful shopping and people watching yesterday. It seemed like the whole world went to South Coast Plaza when I did. Lunch was delicious . . . ravioli filled with lobster. I am heading back to Orange County again today, because we are going to a play. No lobster, though. Keith and I will have our usual pre-play hamburger at Ruiby's Diner.

Have a good day, all.

Judy

I can still say good "Morning" for about ten more minutes.

An overcast and cool day here today with temps in the low fifties.

BeenieWeenie, that's not like you to have anything but a full boost of energy. Hope you're not coming down with anything.

That is a great deal on your TV Kuki. Good luck with it.

Sue, that's what I'm doing today, watching the last race of the season. Sounds as if you got one of those "once in a lifetime" deals on your netbook! Good luck with it.

Judy, so glad you're having a wonderful weekend and that the weather is cooperating so well. Enjoy your play and your hamburgers!

Todd

Oh Todd, don't worry about me... it ends up a burst of energy hit me when I saw what a beautiful day it was outside. I ended up ripping out a bunch of metal fence posts. You have to understand that our property was once cow pasture before the house was built. Then when they built our home they left an old livestock/barbed wire fence which basically separated our property from the corn field behind us. Basically that fence has been lined with weeds, prickly bushes, thickets and poison ivy etc... for the time we've lived here. Well since we have been spending so much more time out in the backyard since the patio has been finished that mess has to go and so today I removed about half of the fence. I am seriously thinking about renting a bobcat tomorrow to go and rip the rest of it out. On the the other hand I may just wait, I am so sore. My feet and ankles and hands are killing me.

I think I need to take a nice hot soak in the hot tub.
