YAAAYYYY!! Fran is home where she belongs! I'm so glad to hear your good news Todd, now you take care of yourself so you can properly care for her, and both of you can look forward to a brighter New Year!
Todd, that is FANTASTIC! Aren't prayers wonderful! Yes, DO celebrate Christmas and any other holiday you want! I suspect she has a ways to go, so please continue to keep us abreast of what's happening. Do you still have to have the ablation?

What a wonderful turn of events for you two. If I could be there I would gladly clean house for you but I'm sure you did a great job and Fran doesn't care about how it looks she is probably just so glad to be home. You take care of yourself so that you can be a good nurse. If time allows please keep us posted on how things are going. I will continue to pray for a full recovery for Fran and good health to you too.
What fantastic news. I am so happy for you both. I'll keep praying along with the others, and you relax, and just concentrate on taking care of yourself and pampering your sweet Fran.
Well, it's 0240 hrs. darktime, EST and Fran's intrepid Nurse is still on the job, albeit a tad groggily.
It's been something of a rollercoaster ride as my precious wife still has an on again/off again temp that sometimes reaches a little over 101. Overall, however, I think maybe she's improving if only in baby steps. I say this only because she has been around me for so many years, all my orders from her are now followed by that time honored cop order of, ""Do it NOW!" even if it does come out more in a warbling, squeeky voice along the line of, "Doooo, 'cough cough' it, 'cough', now!" which would make it sound a bit ridiculous were my .357 not to be currently on her side of the bed!
I just had to give her some cough medicine a few minutes ago because while the medical folks want her to cough, it's starting to interrupt her sleep.....or is it my sleep...or.....
Yes Venice, I have my formal wear out. I now meet folks at the door with the greeting, "Hello, my name is Jeeves and I'm the Butler." My daily duties include not only taking my orders from Fran but I also must be at the beck and call of our feline children; King Weaver the First, Crown Prince Winston the Huge, Princess Jennifer the Demure, Prince Oliver "Eatyourface" and of course Prince Felix aka "Claws!"
I have now become fully humbled. I have to go now. Weaver just awoke, spotted me and now he wants a Fancy Feast snack.
Thank you again ever so much for everyone who has traveled this road with me over the past few weeks. You have all indeed been my rock.
Prayers continue for Judy; Delft along with her Mom and sister; MikeM; Phyll; Luanne and Jim and anyone else who is suffering any sort of illness or travail. Pardon me for not reading all the daily posts to learn more about how everyone's doing and please forgive me if I've missed some of your personal concerns and issues. Of course the above prayers are accompanied by a request for multidudinous Blessings on all of my adored cruisemates.
