Just beginning to look at airfares from Pheonix to CA for CruiseMates Let's Get Lei'd 5.0, and wondering if you folks more familiar with California can tell me if it's good to fly into Orange instead of LAX to get to SanPedro?
ALLURE OF THE SEAS FEB 2016.... Who's going with??

LAX is closer (16 miles) but very busy, SNA (OC) is a smaller and a nice airport (25 miles). We fly into SNA when we do Disneyland. It's really up to you. See what the prices are for both.
Big question to me would be how you plan to get to the ship? It is unlikely there will be cruise line transfers from Orange County. And I am not sure how the cab service would be. Now if you are going to do what we love to do and have a stretch limo meet you, that would be great!
Long Beach Airport is closest. I believe JetBlue flies there as well as some others. It's a cool small art-deco style airport. Mike is correct there will be no cruise shuttle, but the share-ride shuttles are cheap to the port.
I've also used John Wayne (Orange Co.), but only because I was using an award ticket. The shuttle from there is expensive and I would not want to do that again.
I would use Long Beach if possible. Especially if you were going a day early.
