this is going to be an upset tournament... Henry, I bet one of your final four teams will be upset before the sweet 16..another team will be upset before the elite 8 and one of your teams will not make it to the final 4..and I bet a big East team will play for the championship (gee I wonder which team I would like to see there)
On the selection show on Sunday, three of the four "talking heads" picked Kansas, and the other (I think it was Charles Barkley) picked Ohio State.
In another poll released today (can't remember who), Ohio State is a 3-1 favorite, Kansas was something like 9-1, etc.
Ohio State looked unbeatable until they ran up against Wisconsin and Purdue, so go figure.
As a loyal Buckeye fan, I'm for them all the way......but I wouldn't bet my next paycheck.

Any team can beat any team on any day . Many years ago I played organized (league) basketball. The owner of the Hawks came to a game that I played in because he had a nephew on the opposing team . He was very impressed by my team (not me ,I was the worst player ). He asked if we would like to scrimmage in the summer against a team of Hawks players present and past .We "jumped" at the opportunity .It was outside in about 95 degree heat . We won the game .
Bully for the Home Team!!! And I think you were NOT the worst player on the team!

The prerequisite for being on the team was that one had to have played highschool or college basketball .I did neither ,however ,nobody on the team was taller than me . I initially began as an assistant to the coach ,eventually he made me a team member . I scored 23 points in 2 years .
Henry...good weekend of college hoops...Pittsburgh upset...I suspect that both Kansas and Kentucky will go down in the Sweet 16..now that Syracuse is out I've become a Butler fan
There were 7 Big Ten teams in the 64 ... now there are 2. My alma mater Wisconsin who upset the other one the first time they played, but didn't win the 2nd time.
My nephew's alma mater Duke is also in the Sweet 16 ... so we are rooting for each other's team until they meet in the final!

My alma mater alas plays in Div.3 ,therefore ,I will never have the opportunity to root for them in the tourney. I have Duke in my poool to win it all .However ,several of my friends graduated Kansas and I have family in the state so I would normally root for them.
However ,I am rooting for Ohio State to lose so that I have a better chance in my pool .

Will...my main manI was wondering how long it would take you to post..the Big East in basketball is like the Big 10 in football...they beat up on each other during the season then don't do well post season
however...at least 1 Big East team will be in the championship game
I'm in 2 pools .Not one person picked Conn to win it all even with Kemba Walker .

Of course those people could be wrong.
